I'm searching for some new breakfast additions to get our day going with ease. This breakfast cookie wasn't a winner with the kids unfortunately. In their own words, they like things separate and not mixed together. I do think most kids would enjoy these. They enjoyed a banana, peanut butter, yogurt and cereal. But hey! It's not all about kids being happy...or is it? Either way; I enjoyed these breakfast cookies and have some leftover for tomorrow.

Microwave Oatmeal Breakfast Cookie:

1 banana, mashed

2 Tablespoons dry milk powder or protein powder

2 Tablespoons peanut butter

1/2 cups rolled oats

1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice or cinnamon

1 Tablespoon milk or "milk" of your choosing

Instructions: Mash everything together. Place large spoonfuls on a piece of parchment paper. Microwave for 60-120 seconds until the middle of the cookie loses its shine. Let cool for at least two minutes.
